- About Me
Cross the stepping stones and go beneath the bushes, there you will find a waterfall to the third of these ponds, if you make your way round to the right of this pond you will come to the water wheel shown below right.
Take the path down beside the water wheel this leads into a place where you can explore the jungle! Follow this path which winds about quite a lot, after passing the wooden bench be sure to take the right hand branch. In a short while you will come to a crossing of paths, keep straight on but note the kissing gate a little to your right as you will shortly come back through this. After some more twists and bends you will see the carved boar's head shown on the left and beyond this find a sharp right hand bend that takes the path into an old orchard. From here the path goes out through a gate into a field. Cut diagonally to the right until you come to a gateway with no gate and then go diagonally right again looking out for the kissing gate back into the jungle. Go through this and follow the path, crossing the one you have already traversed. Again there are many bends but eventually you will meet another path coming in from the left, keep right here until you come to a small clearing with a gate and stile onto a road.
Through the gate, or over the stile, turn left until you come to Meadow lane on your left, taking this will bring you back to the cross roads by Tregellast Barton farm where you can stop to enjoy refreshments or a
Roskilly's ice cream. To get back to St. Keverne return to the gate to the ponds and take the road to the left, when facing the gate, up the hill until you come to the dwellings, pass the school on your left and at the end of the road turn left to come back to the square.
You can get back to the village using a shorter route after leaving the vicinity of the ponds. Again turn left when you have crossed the stile but instead of returning going down Meadow lane bear slightly right. At the end of the road turn left and keep on until you come back to the square.
